Strange fruit? What’s your take, on the dragonfruit? Amari’s, take on it.
I watched a film about dinosaurs which I thought was quite a hoot. Then mum insisted I take a break and try some dragon fruit. It was fiery red on the outside, and spikey to the touch, The inside was all full of dots and white and soft and lush. It wasn’t quite a taste I liked but I tried it anyway. You know, dragons should breathe fire and not be fruit, I say!

Could it be, I am related to the Yam, or the Potato, or both?
I am not often seen, not sure why, as I am lean and keen, and you’ll often find me in African or Caribbean cuisine. I am rough around the edges, I am not a foodies dream, but place me in a soup or stew, I am, the one, Dasheen.

I had some tasty dates today, flavoursome, sweet, divine. I placed them in a bowl to share, they were gone in super time. I thought about its benefits, antioxidants to go, and the fibre which it does contain to regulate your flow. You can place me close to friends of mine such as nuts and grapes or cheese, but the benefit of interest here begins with the letter, D.
