<image:title>Blackberries, Blueberries, Bananas and the Beets. - You Get Me?</image:title>
<image:caption>There is always a story to be told when it comes to food. Well, this group has an interesting perception, of themselves. This is their story. The blackberries, blueberries and Bananas are just, sitting, chillin’, waiting for the beets to grow. It’s a beautiful day, the sun is shining, they’re all having fun, just waiting. “Look over here, you guys. Take a real long look” say the blackberries. I’m so sweet and juicy, I look good up in here on these branches. You get me?” The others look towards the blackberries and smile. “I can make your jam, nutritious I am, and packed with vitamin C. It’s a slam dunk. What can you do?” “Well, well well, say the blueberries. Here we go again. You always talking about, you. We both have much in common. We’re both juicy and sweet, we can move to a groove, they sometimes even call us, brain food. There’s a kind of swagger about us. We’re packed full of fun, and get our goods from the sun and not forgetting that we’re low in sugar. You, get me? “Feeling awkward,” say the bananas. “Why do you all want to make me feel so different?” I thought that being fruit, we could all shimmy up. We’d do well, together? With me, you can bake me, bread me, roast me in my skin. there is so much I can do, as well as providing some potassium too. We can be a great tasting smoothie, and children will love our taste if we mix it up together? We’d pack a mighty punch. You get me?” “Wow! You talk too much for a bunch of bananas. Be cool,” say, the blueberries. “I am cool,” mutter’s the bananas, under its skin, hoping the others, do not hear. “What about, the beets,” squirts, the blackberries? As, the beets smile and dig their roots firmly in the soil, as they watch the other discussing it all. “Sorry guys,” say, the beets. “I’m not quite fit to party yet. You all relax, stay sweet and steady until I’m ready.” “So what do we do now,” the bananas, peel? “Nothing! Be cool, man! Let’s just, chill, relax, sit here and wait for the beets to ripen.” say the blueberries. “But I am cool,” the bananas, say. “I’m beginning to doubt my unique self, with all you berries up in my face.” “Hey, bananas. Don’t worry about what others say about you. You are cool, shout the beets. You know. Here in the soil, we see and feel almost everything. We never plant seeds of doubt. Don’t ever underestimate your natural beauty. You get me?” J A Williamson</image:caption>

<image:title>Elderberries and Endives - Let us make a song and dance of it. We won’t often eat Elderberries as our first choice seeing that they are not native to our shores, but they are just as fruitful and important to the diet of those in North America or South America, where you’ll find them in their natural habitat. it will support and provide part of your daily fruit intake.</image:title>
<image:caption>Here is a little rhyme, about Elderberries. The elderberries come from the elderberry tree, a little in my diet helps me heal more naturally, make me, jams, make me chutney, make mum elderberry wine because the juices from the berries make me feel so super fine. Tomorrow I’ll be having toast with elderberry jam, then I’ll have some as a puree to go with my cured ham, make me jam, make me chutney, add me to your apple pie because the benefits these berries give is something you should try. <image:title>Pineapple and Pomegranate - I picked a plum, today.</image:title>
<image:caption>I picked some perfect plums today, I picked them just for you. And while I picked some perfect plums I picked papaya too. I picked the perfect plums today, with papaya seemed so few, so we cruised around the marketplace and found some passion fruit. incredible it seems to me, the things that you can buy. I picked the plums, papaya, with passion in my eyes. They reminded me of all things good, with brains, with heart, with soul. Next time I pick some perfect fruit will be something to behold. <image:title>Kiwi & Komquats - In need of a Vitamin Boost?</image:title>
<image:caption>Allowing either one of these fruits, to be part of a young child’s daily requirement is some achievement. The Kiwi fruit, formerly known as, the Chinese Gooseberry, has much to be desired when it comes to nutrients and Vitamins. Does it give the Kumquats a run for its money? Well, this delicious beauty doesn’t get the attention it deserves, especially coming from the same family as our better known citrus fruits, i.e. Oranges, Lemons, and Limes. With these little gems, you can also eat their skin, and then savour the beauty within.</image:caption>
